- DEVITT James Thomas 1884-1952; son of Patrick Devitt and Mary nee Boyce; born at Barnawartha in 1884 [vrn 7165]; enlisted for WW1 service 14th September 1915 as Private 352 Australian Remount Unit 1, Squadron2, and embarked for overseas aboard Transport A67 Orsova on 12th November 1915, returned to Australia 26th July 1919.
